چکیده

High carbon emissions, shortages of natural aggregates and environmental pollution waste concrete powder (WCP) have become open issues for the traditional industry. Aggregates prepared by crushing screening usually possess poor mechanical properties. Meanwhile, WCP cannot be effectively utilized. This paper proposes a novel approach based on microorganisms strengthening properties improving CO2 sequestration ‘newly’ artificial cold-bonding pelletization WCP. Specifically, enhanced aggregates, resulting in their apparent density, strength water absorption increasing to 2620 kg/m3, 9.1 MPa 4.8%, respectively. With increase well-crystallized mineralization products, exhibited denser microstructure where porosity decreased from 20.9 13.9%. The fixation increased 7.4 16.0 wt. % due existence microorganisms. compressive indicated that aggregate could partially substitute without affecting its strength, better substitution rate should controlled within 50%. method improves resource utilization emission reduction, showing good potential future applications. Preparation process application.

Inhibitory Effect of Waste Glass Powder on ASR Expansion Induced by Waste Glass Aggregate

Detailed research is carried out to ascertain the inhibitory effect of waste glass powder (WGP) on alkali-silica reaction (ASR) expansion induced by waste glass aggregate in this paper. The alkali reactivity of waste glass aggregate is examined by two methods in accordance with the China Test Code SL352-2006. The potential of WGP to control the ASR expansion is determined in terms of mean diame...

chemical recycling of polycarbonate waste using conventional heating and microwave assisted method

scour modeling piles of kambuzia industrial city bridge using hec-ras and artificial neural network

today, scouring is one of the important topics in the river and coastal engineering so that the most destruction in the bridges is occurred due to this phenomenon. whereas the bridges are assumed as the most important connecting structures in the communications roads in the country and their importance is doubled while floodwater, thus exact design and maintenance thereof is very crucial. f...

Influence of Powder and Paste on SCC Using Recycled Concrete Aggregate

ISSN 2277-5056 | © 2012 Bonfring Abstract--The use of recycled concrete aggregate is an important issue for preserving the natural resources, protecting the environment, saving of energy and for sustainable development. In this study, a unique simple mixture proportioning method was successfully adopted for developing SCC based on the absolute volume concept, starting with a volume of paste wit...

Use of waste plastic in concrete mixture as aggregate replacement.

Industrial activities in Iraq are associated with significant amounts of non-biodegradable solid waste, waste plastic being among the most prominent. This study involved 86 experiments and 254 tests to determine the efficiency of reusing waste plastic in the production of concrete. Thirty kilograms of waste plastic of fabriform shapes was used as a partial replacement for sand by 0%, 10%, 15%, ...
